Pix 55 - Birthday Wednesday

I love the last Wednesday of every month. It's birthday celebration day at work. Cake and ice cream! Yeah baby! I can't believe it's almost March already.

My son is going to visit his great grandmother for 2 days. I think we packed over half of everything he owns. Good thing he's not going for a week.

Pix 53 - They not 20s, but they nice, I keep them real clean

I got my tires filled for free at Discount Tires. They are selling rims starting at $85. That's how they get you in the door, but trust me, you cannot get quality rims for $85. I'm not going to get rims anytime soon, but I miss them. Don't get me wrong, my standard Honda hubcaps are pretty sweet too, but I miss having 5 star rims.

I can post a picture like this everyday. We spent a lot of time like this today. Just the kids hanging out on the floor playing and taking the occasional rest.

On another note, Team USA beat Team Canada tonight. It was a great game for the Americans. They looked very strong tonight and proved that teamwork and role players will beat a team of all-stars every time.

My son LOVES my dog. He spends all day watching her and squealing to get her attention. I was playing on the floor with him this morning and decided to take a picture of the dog from his point of view. She better enjoy her peace now, when he's mobile, he will be all over her. He's already grabbed one of her ears. She responded by attacking him with kisses. It's gonna be fun watching them play together. I'll keep you updated with pix.

Pix 50 - The big 5-0

Last night we went out to Winter Garden Pizza to celebrate Allison's cousin's birthday. No, she didn't turn 50, she turned...I'm no dummy, never tell a woman's age. After getting over a stomach bug, I couldn't force myself to order pizza, so I got baked ziti easy on the sauce. It was very good.

Winter Garden Pizza has one of the best pies I've had in FL. If you are ever in the area, check it out. Ask them to cook it for an extra minute or 2. The pizza is great. They also have a nice salad bar.

Pix 44b - USA #1 (2 and 3)

I know I already posted a picture today, but it's the Olympics so I can go above and beyond. It was a pretty good day for Team USA. Apolo Anton Ohno and J.R. Celski got super lucky and won silver and bronze in the 1500K short track speed skating because of a greedy Korean. I don't know why they only show this sport once every four years. It's really exciting.

Then on the Moguls Hannah Kearney won the first gold medal for the USA. Shannon Bahrke won the bronze Those girls are crazy. Their knees and the rest of their bodies take a beating on those moguls.

Pix 44 - You're my girl blue!

44 is my lucky/favorite number, so it's fitting that my favorite female celeb, Nelly Furtado is today's pix. I'm loving the short track speed skating and I can't wait for men's hockey to start. There's going to be a few late nights over the next two weeks and I'll probably be late to work a few days too.

Pix 41 - It's on FIYA

I was upstairs working on the computer and I heard my wife call out for me. I yelled down "What's up?" She didn't say anything back so I carried on with that I was doing.

A few minutes later she came up and said "When I tell you something's on fire, it would be nice if you come down to check it out" I said "oh, is that what you said? I didn't hear you. I yelled down what's up..."

Anyway...a bottle top fell through the rack in the dishwasher and got burnt by the heating element. Whoops.

Pix 40 - THIS....is American Idol

Tonight was Ellen's first night as a judge on American Idol. She did a good job from what we were shown. They said 96 singers made it to the next Hollywood round. They showed maybe 10 performances and at most only 40 seconds of the song.

Personally I think tonight's show was a complete waste of time. Tomorrow's will be too, but I'll be watching. Anthony out! Come back tomorrow for another pix and good luck Ellen. I hope it's a good season.

One last thought. Simon's teeth are whiter than white. They're whhhhhhhite.

My wife was creative and made Super Bowl themed cupcakes to bring the the Super Bowl gathering tonight. I hope this gives my her the baking bug.

Congrats to the Saints. They showed a lot of guts tonight and really earned that one.

Pix 37 - One lump or two?

I was in BJ's Wholesale Club today and saw a 25 pound bag of sugar. I'd never seen a 25 pound bag of sugar before so I was forced to take a picture and post it up here.

I also thought to myself "Well if this is out there, just think how much more is out there! This is the kind of thing that tells me to go out there and be somebody!" (The Jerk...anyone? anyone???) Come back tomorrow for a Superbowl pix

I was stuck behind a car (at a red light, so don't give me guff about having my phone out while driving) and I said "Oh a lady. I wonder what her hobbies are?"

Pix 35 - Trade and a Beauty

Today the New Jersey Devils traded for Ilya Kovalchuk. He is one of the best goal scorers in the league. I think it's a HUGE addition for the Devils since they struggle to score goals. They have the best goaltender in the league, one of the best defenses in the league and now adding Kovalchuk's offense to the team I think has to put them as the favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the Stanley Cup Finals.

There's still a lot of hockey left to play, but I like their odds. Now hopefully none of the Devils playing in the Olympics get hurt and Marty gets some rest so he is fresh for the playoffs.

I just had a Billy Madison moment. No I did not eat paste or try to pick up a teacher by offering her some milk. I was laying in bed thinking "There's something I'm supposed to do today..." Unlike Billy Madison, it wasn't "Nudie Magazine day" I forgot to post today's picture.

Shoot! Where am I gonna get a picture with only 23 minutes left in the day? AHHH. Thanks to my Homedics alarm clock for giving me this idea. If you are wondering, yes, that is the time displayed on the ceiling. Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow. Don't forget to come back for another pix.

I picked correctly, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, so that means 6 more weeks of winter. Does that mean I'll see snow on my next trip to NY? Only time will tell.

Pix 32 - It's been Christened

The first time I put my son in his infant carrier and high chair he pooped. The poop went right through the diaper and onto the seat. Why should his big boy car seat be any different?

I put him in his Britax Marathon for the first time today and can you guess what happened? Take a look at the picture if you can't guess. It cleaned up nicely. Come back tomorrow for another pix and Happy February.
