Pix 179 - Cedar Key, FL
My in-laws went away for a few weekends ago to Cedar Key, Florida.
They reported it was a nice, but old town. They aren't rushing back there anytime soon, but they did have a good time. They view this blog regularly and my father-in-law snapped these shots for me to use. Thanks Hy.
I don't know about you, but when I view art I always get the worst hankering for some smoked mullet. You think they'll any smoked mullet here? Oh good. They do.
Now that we saw all that art and ate all that smoked mullet, how about we wait 30 minutes (cramps) then take a dip to cool off. What's that sign say? "Do not feed the sharks"

My friend Molly took this picture. I've know her since middle school. She still lives in NY. She sees a lot of things. I thought this was hilarious. Today was my first Father's Day. I had a good day. My wife made waffles, I got great gifts, we went to the pool then we had a BBQ for dinner with my homemade mac n cheese. It was a good day. If you are wondering what his shirt says "I get my handsome from my dad." As his dad, I can't argue. ;)

Pix 170 - Father's Day Poker Game
On Saturday night a bunch of the Fathers on the block got together for a poker game. We had a few Coronas, a few shots of Horny Goat Grass Tequila, we watched The Hangover and played Poker.I finished tied for 5th the first go around, but I won the whole thing after the 2nd buy in. It was a good night. I think this should be a monthly thing.

Pix 166 - Damn it's hot out there
Central Florida is going through a heat wave. It's been in the 90s for a week with heat index up over 100. I think today got to 96 with a heat index of 107. A perfect day to run a 5K no? I actually had a good time 27:49.I could have used a Slurpee this big when I finished. PIX 153 - Shania Twain or Carrie Underwood?
We had a small get together on Sunday to celebrate my birthday. We started talking about the American Idol finale, then about Carrie Underwood, then who's hotter Carrie Underwood or Shania Twain?I asked Shania Twain now or Shania Twain 10 yrs ago. Either way, you can't go wrong. I wouldn't kick either one out of bed for eating crackers, but I have to go with Carrie Underwood. I don't really like blondes, I'm a brunette man, but there is just something about Carrie Underwood. From the first time I saw her on Idol, I was hooked.
Oh, if you were wondering, she's on the laminated list.
