Pix 83 - Baby's First Flight

My son took his first ever flight today. It was pretty cool. He had his own boarding pass and everything. We started him out right with the most important rule in traveling: Check in early to make sure you are in group A!

The excitement of his first flight proved to be too much. He fell asleep before takeoff. He was well behaved on the flight.
We're looking forward to our vacation. Do you know where we went? Here's a hint: Concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There's nothing you can't do. The streets will make you feel brand new. Big lights will inspire you.

For the older crowd, if you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere.

I wanted to get the hat and the "I'm a McCutie" for my son to wear today, but unfortunately the wardrobe department did not approve. (Wardrobe department = my wife) I'm 1/4 Irish, that makes my son 1/8 Irish right?

Pix 72 - Big Boy Bath

This is my 2nd attempt at an artistic pix. This was my first artistic picture for those of you who missed it. My son took his first big boy bath. He loved it. He had so much fun that he passes out after only eating 2oz of his bedtime bottle.

My son is going to visit his great grandmother for 2 days. I think we packed over half of everything he owns. Good thing he's not going for a week.

Pix 51 - A boy and his dog

My son LOVES my dog. He spends all day watching her and squealing to get her attention. I was playing on the floor with him this morning and decided to take a picture of the dog from his point of view. She better enjoy her peace now, when he's mobile, he will be all over her. He's already grabbed one of her ears. She responded by attacking him with kisses. It's gonna be fun watching them play together. I'll keep you updated with pix.

Pix 41 - It's on FIYA

I was upstairs working on the computer and I heard my wife call out for me. I yelled down "What's up?" She didn't say anything back so I carried on with that I was doing.

A few minutes later she came up and said "When I tell you something's on fire, it would be nice if you come down to check it out" I said "oh, is that what you said? I didn't hear you. I yelled down what's up..."

Anyway...a bottle top fell through the rack in the dishwasher and got burnt by the heating element. Whoops.

Pix 32 - It's been Christened

The first time I put my son in his infant carrier and high chair he pooped. The poop went right through the diaper and onto the seat. Why should his big boy car seat be any different?

I put him in his Britax Marathon for the first time today and can you guess what happened? Take a look at the picture if you can't guess. It cleaned up nicely. Come back tomorrow for another pix and Happy February.

Pix 27 - Dinner with the Queen?

What could be better than a tuxedo t-shirt? A tuxedo bib.
I was tempted to buy this for my son, but I figured the odds of the Queen doing a pop-in for dinner were slim to none. I'll have plenty of notice to go back out and get it for any black tie event that comes up.

Pix 24 - Later Gator

Well, the Jets had a good run, but their run came to an end this afternoon. I have to admit I counted them out twice earlier in the season. After the loss to JAX and ATL I knew they were out of the playoffs, but they turned it on and made it to the AFC Championship game for the first time since 1998.

Just like in 1998, they took a lead, on the road, into halftime. Just like in 1998, they had a double digit lead in the 3rd quarter. And just like 1998, they didn't score another point and lost the game by 13 points.

Unlike in 1998 when Vinny and Curtis were in the twilight of their careers, Sanchez and Green are hot rookies with bright futures in the horizon. Looking forward to next year, but for now all I can say is "Later Gator"

Another bonus from Grandma and Pop-pop's visit is Christmas part 2. They came with many gifts for my son. His favorite so far, this big dog that was bigger than he was. He had a good time playing with it this afternoon.
