Well, the Jets had a good run, but their run came to an end this afternoon. I have to admit I counted them out twice earlier in the season. After the loss to JAX and ATL I knew they were out of the playoffs, but they turned it on and made it to the AFC Championship game for the first time since 1998.Just like in 1998, they took a lead, on the road, into halftime. Just like in 1998, they had a double digit lead in the 3rd quarter. And just like 1998, they didn't score another point and lost the game by 13 points.
Unlike in 1998 when Vinny and Curtis were in the twilight of their careers, Sanchez and Green are hot rookies with bright futures in the horizon. Looking forward to next year, but for now all I can say is "Later Gator"
