Today the New Jersey Devils traded for Ilya Kovalchuk. He is one of the best goal scorers in the league. I think it's a HUGE addition for the Devils since they struggle to score goals. They have the best goaltender in the league, one of the best defenses in the league and now adding Kovalchuk's offense to the team I think has to put them as the favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the Stanley Cup Finals.There's still a lot of hockey left to play, but I like their odds. Now hopefully none of the Devils playing in the Olympics get hurt and Marty gets some rest so he is fresh for the playoffs.
